Ain't your Grandmammy's handiwork anymore. I'm officially obsessed with the colors and textures in patchwork.
The Sienna from Pottery Barn - a lovely square design, on sale no less!
Some awesome finds over at World Market - lovely floor poufs and a jute patchwork patterned rug makes D&D a happy pup.

Cheers.
I LOVE Halloween. I'm starting the one month countdown soooooon. I doubt I'll be throwing a soiree but if I was, these seven deadly sins mingling plates are the shizz. I would definitely need gluttony.
Tagged.
People always associate graffiti with hip-hop culture and vandalism but if you were an art history minor like myself, ahem, you'd know that it's existed since the ancient Roman's started scratching up rocks back in Pompeii. I'm serious! So yes. If I didn't have sliding glass doors on my shower, I'd add some elevated art to my bagno with this graffiti curtain from CB2.

Bollywood.
I'm so glad Indian design and style is booming. I'm excited to pick up this book, Made In India, to get inspired by their current pop culture as well as some of their more vintage pieces - like this Bollywood poster.

Ron Galella.
Before TMZ and Us Weekly existed - Ron Galella was the world's coolest paparazzi. I just read this article about him in NY mag and I'm totally fascinated. He was the original guy to seek out celebrities in their element, to humanize them. I love how he captures moments of them "in the wild". Life must have been so much simpler back then - and photos always look better in black and white! Check out more of his work here. (And yes, that's him following Brando in a helmut. Smart man.)
Astrology.
I am a big believer in signs, superstitions and fate. And I read my horoscope on a daily basis. It's no wonder that I am head over heels for these astrology glasses over at Urban. What's YOUR sign? I'm a Pisces and it's true what they say - I do "easily dodge reality". At least I'm not a "whiner" like those Taurus folk.
Woodsy.
It's pretty obvious where Vermont-based company Nori Morimoto gets their inspiration. The forest pendant light would look great above an old farmhouse table. Check out his killer tripod pieces too. The mixture of modern and earthy elements is my favorite look in furniture these days.
