I am a major summer person. But know what my pet peeve is during the warm months?



Flip-flops. Those rubber uglies really rub me the wrong way. I'm all for an espadrille or a mule or a beaded sandal or a nice gladiator - but these? They should be outlawed to the beach and only the beach.

Do you all listen to public radio? It has become a major pleasure of mine to start off each morning with MPBM. I love the stories and the unbiased news reports. What about you?



It will be a very sad day when radio and newspapers are replaced by the digital age. Sigh.
