Poppies.

I am practicing major self-restraint. I have a new urge to redo my living room in all deep blues with pops of oranges throughout. These pillows...on sale... must... resist!

Beach club floral print pillow, $9.99 each

Exposed.

I went a little bit ga ga over this London townhouse . The exposed brick walls and modern light fixtures are really breathtaking. If only I had that much sunlight in my apartment...sigh. Also love that gold gilt mirror in the kitchen - I'd never think to put a mirror in a kitchen but if you think about it - very smart. I can do lots of teeth checks.

Doors.

If I ever have my own house - which in reality is light years away - you can guarantee that my front door will be painted in a canary yellow. I am so inspired by the scandinavian, sunny feel.

Circus.

Last night I went to the Barnum and Bailey's opening night of Zing Zang Zoom. It was amazing and supremely scary all at once. I am newly obsessed with elephants. They're like wrinkly old men with permanent smiles plastered on their faces. Adorable.

Munjoy.

Angela Adams is my favorite designer in the home industry. Her trays are the only affordable item I can find. But come on - I'd easily shell out some mula for these babies.

Munjoy and Kenga trays, $45 each

Chick Flick.

But a seriously good film. If you need to get some tears out and/or you love adorable spanish-speaking boys - RENT THIS NOW! Best movie I've seen in awhile. I like heart warmers.

Greens.

I don't have a green thumb perse, but I love gardens and gardening. I bought some little herb plants to put on my window sill. I need some plant life to keep me happy in the spring.

Lobster.

I am back from a wonderful weekend in Maine. Sigh. I love it there. Oh well, back to reality and crummy NYC. (I really do love NYC - sometimes it gets on my nerves though).

Y&R.

This weekend I am off to Maine for a birthday extravaganza. Saturday night one of my fave bands are playing - and then I am co-host to a Young and the Restless themed party. I am wearing a halter jumpsuit similar to the one shown here (only mine comes with a necklace attached - classy!). I might also invest in some virginia slims and a martini glass to complete the soap star look. Back on Wednesday!

Halter Wide-Legs Gaucho jumpsuit, $45 (but I got mine for $25 - obvi).

Happy Birthday...

to me.

I am going to eat this tonight.

Spring Fever.

I had an amazing birthday weekend. I got to do lots of shopping with my BFF. I saw "He's Just Not That Into You" with my Mama. And my fave bday gifts? My Mother made me a beautiful afghan! I can't wait to put it on my bed. My best pal made me a roll-up pencil case too - perfect for toting my writing utensils in. I love homemade gifts - they are the bee's knees.

I also bought these at Kohl's. Can't wait to wear them once it's warm out!

Ruffled sandals, $15

I am headed home this weekend to spend lots of time with my family, hang out with my BFF, get a facial, cut my hair and shop at TARGET! These shoes are on my list. What are YOU doing?

Be Still...

my beating heart. I love hat boxes. And this set of florals and stripes makes my heart go pitter patter. I'd just pile these next to my bed and use it as a chic end table.
