Street Style.

One of the reasons why I'm so drawn to fashion street photography is because it's so accessible. Take for example this photo.



I own that exact shirt and never in a million years would have though to pair it with a cheetah print skirt. But I adore the look. Moreso than if it was on a model that can make a brown paper bag look good. I am consistently inspired by these blogs and I'm glad they exist....!

I loved umbrellas before Rihanna made them a hit. (Sidenote: I totally died when she become a Totes spokesperson. Just sayin'...) I'm spotting a lot of umbrella-related items that I would really like to own.

I spotted this - and my heart stopped. IS THAT A POLAROID SPICE GIRLS CAMERA?



Hells yea it is. After a bit of research I did find out that they were made in the UK at the height of the Spice Girls pinnacle of coolness. I found one for sale.



Well, I'm obsessed. And once again cursing the stars that I was not born in England.

Stars.

I never really noticed starry skies until I moved to Maine. This past summer, once in awhile I’d look up and feel like I was in some pointillist painting – that’s how beautiful and bright it would look. I still have no idea how to spot a constellation, but I definitely can’t see any past the skyscrapers here in Manhattan. Though the skyscrapers tend to look very pretty at night too.

I'm feeling stripes lately, especially with a nauti edge. Lobsterman and I are moving this month (more on that later) and I really want a brown and white striped bathroom.
