Where I Left My Heart.

I am headed back to New York City for a few days to see all my great loves (besides my Lobsterman of course): Friends and Tino's Deli in the Bronx. Ohhhh happiness! See ya when I return next week. xo.

I Can't See.

So I'm debating a new pair of glasses. Caroline always RAVES about this site and I'm sorta in love with this pair. Thoughts?

Train Case.

I fly or drive to NYC or CT for weekends quite often, and though I usually throw a few things into my yellow DVF duffle bag (I know - I'm so chic) I have ALWAYS ALWAYS WANTED one of these vintage train cases. The hard shell would definitely come in handy when I have to tote my laptop too. Officially bookmarking this as a potential purchase.

I Live in Maine.

So I should PROBABLY own these.

Train Of Thoughts.

When I spotted this photo of Betty, my reaction was thus:

Wow. She is so cool.
Why don't my bangs ever look like that?
As a matter of fact, why don't I ever look like that?
I think it's the jacket.
It's definitely the jacket.
Where did she buy the jacket?
Goddamn it! Vintage!
I must begin a search for something similar.
I think it's time for lunch.

Needless to say, I came across very few jackets that are even remotely as cool - at least not for under $50. But this is a CLOSE contender indeed. And only $40!

Cheers.

I love Boylan's soda and I love recycling. Who knew the two could go together so nicely?

Back To School.

I am oh so envious of the delightful Erin and my friend Nana as they head back to school this fall. I miss school supplies most. On my wish list:

Hi.

Hello D&D's! What a long hiatus it has been. But guess what? I think it's time we revisit D&D and go back to economically friendly posting. I've had a really great summer thus far. Life off the coast of Maine has been peachy. I have learned several new things:
1. How to cook lobsters on a beach with seaweed
2. How to row a boat (though I don't have the rhythm down perfectly yet)
3. How to crack open a lobster
4. New England phrases like "It's snotty out there" (meaning the water is rough) and "Take a look at them lobbys!" (meaning those lobsters looks good enough to eat)
5. How to enter and exit a skiff without falling overboard
6. How to haul a lobster trap
7. Where to find wild blackberries, apples, blueberries and rhubarb
I'm sure there are a ton more but I'd rather not brag about my new abilities. Let's usher in D&D with some fabo finds!
