Have a relaxing weekend. I plan on seeing some friends, eating cider donuts and taking a trip to Target . Anyone going to pumpkin pick?

Triple Life.
I still want this damn Kathy Kamei necklace from Red Envelope. Why no one has bought it for me yet just boggles the mind. Though really, no one holds a candle to this chick's designs...!
John Derian.
I got this ABC tray from Target - but I'm obsessed with the John Derian line in general. You can't buy the items online and I'm sure the stores are selling out fast. SO RUNNNNN!

Scoop Poop.
in style! I love these colorful leather pouches meant to hold some plastic baggies, for, ya know, dog doo.
Please Vote.
My dear friend, the artist Dallas Shaw, has designed an amazing coat over at Vaute Couture. PLEASE vote for her design - and see her vegan, eco-conscious design come to life this winter! Oh la la!

Johnny Tapete.
Want a good place for vintage wallpaper? Try Johnny Tapete. Geometrics, baroque prints, florals - oh my. Not cheap but since when is anything vintage affordable?

Tighten Those Purse Strings.
I know, I know, all this talk of an economic crisis has us all in a tizzy. But look at what $10 can still get you!
A dino pencil sharpener from Z Gallerie
A vintage red and white geometric scarf from OwlEyesVintage
An owl plaque to adorn boring walls for a home whose mortgage you can't afford!
God I'm gloomy. Sigh. That was fun. Money can definitely buy happiness.

Cafe Chair.
These bistro chairs over at Williams-Sonoma Home (which by the way is my new favorite store - they just opened in NYC and its amazing) are gorge. I wish I could transform a kitchen into an outdoor Parisian cafe. But alas, I'll only be able to sit on this rattan and beech weave if I ever make it to Europe - damn you recession!!!

Costumes.
Of course I bought my costume last night. I went "just to look" and ended up leaving with one in hand. I have no self-control - but I shall not reveal it until we're a little closer to the big day! Has anyone perused etsy for costumes yet? I have found some goodies!
Alice in Wonderland anyone?
Seafaring Pirate?

Pin Up.
I'm in full Halloween mode now. Tomorrow night I'm buying pumpkins to paint - and also doing a little costume shopping. I think I've finally settled on an idea: a 1940's pin up girl (or a USO girl, we'll see) inspired by these awesome black and white prints. I am totally gonna rock red lipstick and a permawave too.

Revival.
I will give up my first born in exchange for this Herman Miller Nelson chair. Seriously. Anyone want an Italian bambino?

Makool.
I have been a fan of makool for awhile now - so chic, so hot, so pricey. But lo and behold, girl has an ETSY shop with discounted pieces! Granted, even her discounted pieces are out of my range, but I am still psyched to have the option. And how amazing are her photos? I would totally wear that gray and red number as a wedding dress - I bet wearing her garments feel like floating on a cloud.

Kelly Wearstler's Guest Room.
Obsessed with the color palette, fabrics and pretty much everything in Kelly Wearstler's GUEST ROOM. Yea that's right. This is a room that no one even permanently lives in. Oh to be Kelly's friend. Perhaps if I send her some chocolate and offer a back rub she'll let me crash one of these days. Check out her deco file here.
Jen Garrido
Jen Garrido is hands down one of my favorite artists currently on the scene. I can't afford any of her pieces, so sometimes I just print them out and put them on my fridge. I love how she creates form by just letting the paint and colors bleed into one another. It's really breathtaking to see them up close. Her newest pieces are right here.
Uninspired.
Hi loyal D&D's. Sorry about my lack of posts. I am a bit unenthused about the design world lately - and don't want to just post for the hell of it. Plus, I miss my old typepad interface and am not getting into this blogspot groove. Please send any sources of inspiration my way. Hopefully I'll be back up and running on a regular basis in no time.
