This is how I came to work today - as a Maine tourist.
My costume total was $11 for the hat, shirt and glasses. The rest (sadly) I already owned.
Have a spooky weekend!

Making Holidays Mari.
I have a long obsession with Marimekko. Now that I've spotted wrapping paper by my Finnish loves, I might have to start Christmas shopping early.

Origami.
I love "the art of folding" and these origami kits from Land of Nod are totally rad. They might even make my Christmas list.

Oprah Does It.
Since I tend to model my life after Oprah, I am going to follow her suggestions and start a gratitude journal. I think it's important to chronicle all the great things in my life rather than focus on anything negative. This pretty journal can help me get started.

Ode To A BFF.
Tomorrow my best friend in the world arrives. We don't see each other every single day like we used to and now sleepovers are no longer a weekend ritual at the end of every Friday. When I was the new girl in town almost 20 years ago, she introduced herself and showed me where the rabbits in her backyard were buried. We've been inseparable ever since. I CAN'T WAIT to spend the whole weekend with her.
Thank GOD for girlfriends!

Happy Feet.
I spotted these socks on Say Yes To Hoboken and fell in love fairly fast. The head over heels sort of love. Ha! Get it?

Vacation.
Lobsterman and I are officially saving up to plan a big vacation this Spring. I have no idea where we're going to go. It will all depend on how much money we'll be able to save by the new year when it's time to book tickets. Want to know where I'd like to go? Take a guess.
Rome. I am dying to get to Italy and explore the architecture and eat pasta until my belt busts. Fingers crossed we make it there!
