we surprised my dad by driving all the way to ct on friday afternoon. we had a lovely weekend filled with food. i am not kidding. i am three pounds heavier.
i love going home.

Sounds lovely!!
I gain 5 pounds just thinking about my family in Texas! Okay, fo realz, I gain at least 3+ when I go home for a visit - but it's always, always worth it.
