I Need A Hero.

What you are about to read is a true tale. Last Sunday I left my wallet at a gas pump, realized it too late and it was gone by the time I returned for it. There was lots of cash in it, credit cards, my license, my life! After canceling all my cards and chalking it up to my own idiocy, I moved on.

Yesterday, over a week later, I got a picture message from my boyfriend of my wallet. I couldn't believe it. He was in a McDonald's and spotted it on a homeless man. He went over to him and politely asked if it belonged to him or if the wallet he had was found. The man claimed it was his and didn't seem to want to talk about it any further. Lobsterman then told him that if he didn't hand it over, he'd break his f!@#$ing legs. Needless to say, he handed it over and EVERYTHING (minus the cash) is intact.

My man is a HERO!!!!

Wow. I can't believe your boyfriend randomly spotted it on someone. He definitely sounds like a keeper.

Seriously? In McDonalds. That is remarkable. You just never know, you really don't. Cancelling the credit cards is the worst because. This happened to us while on vacation in Hawaii and when we go back to our hotel, they were freaking out because our CC had been cancelled, also we had no ID's to get back on the plane to come home. Had to have our passports FedEx'd to us - crazy.
