But More Importantly...

Today is my Mother's birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAMA! This woman deserves a medal for raising me and two others, along with taking such good care of my Father and the family dachsund. There are many reasons to love her, but here are a few:

1. She sits by you until you fall asleep when you're sick.
2. She brings you cookies on a tray when you come home to visit.
3. She listens to you moan and complain on the phone for hours without interrupting.
4. She writes funny songs about you that convince you she is in the wrong profession.
5. She loves us infinitely - even when we are super annoying and forget how great she is for even the smallest fraction of a second.

my Mom. She is the funniest, coolest, supportive Mom in the whole wide world. I know a lot of people say that - but my Mom really is.



She is going to kill me for putting this photo up. But it's hilarious. She doesn't actually wear sunglasses like these - but perhaps she'd be even cooler if she did.
