Wow. This is the first weekend in a very long time where I have no plans (except for drinks with my cousin tonight) but other than that, I'm a free woman. I plan on sleeping in, laying on the beach, reading tons of books and being totally lazy. And yet, I still want to dress up!

Tornado.

There were tornado warnings in Maine recently. Lobsterman and I were on a drive and we had never see the sky look so brilliant/brilliantly scary.





But I think the best part of the night was getting lost and stopping for ice cream at a cute shop in the middle of nowhere. Funnel clouds can't stop me from enjoying such pleasures.

I'm a total notebook whore. I love them and I write in them on a daily basis. I probably fill one a month. Though i swear by these, here are some other cuties.

A Few Of My (Current) Favorite Things.

I can't get enough of my Hunter's Tote Bag from, where else, but the incomparable L.L.Bean. It's cool enough for everyday and waterproof for the beach and durable for my heap of crap that I bring with my everywhere.



Dark chocolate coconut kashi bars are heaven on earth and I eat them every afternoon. I can't control my hankering for these.



Tana French. I read her first novel and now I can't put her second one down. Just, trust me on this, and read her books.

Dream Office.

I would love to turn a closet into an office. I hate paper clutter and files being out in the open, so an office I can hide away sounds great. Now if only I had the closet space...

Going Organic.

I read this article recently and it totally changed the way I grocery shop. It is a must-read for you and your family. I've decided to also go organic with my skincare. Sometimes I cringe when I read the chemicals and names of the stuff in my deodorant and face cream. Since it's expensive to do all at once, when I run out of something that I need, for example a face wash, I replace it with an organic product. (Recently got this and love it).



This way I'm making the change gradually, rather than all at once. The best thing I've discovered is that going organic is pricier - but not that much! What about you? Are you all organic? Do you have any organic beauty products that you love? Oh and ENTER THE GIVEAWAY!

I am in love with my new wheels. After a week of car shopping and annoying used car salesmen, I finally took home a car that I love. I didn't think I'd end up loving an inanimate object this much. Even though I have another bill that will take five years to pay off, I'm in love.
